1. Grant
Subject to this license, the licensee may:
a) Use the source code in any number of projects the licensee owns or
controls, commercial or non-commercial.
b) Use it in internal projects of the licensee's company, including
publishing it to the company's own private artifact repository.
c) Use it to build software for the licensee's clients, and deliver the
resulting applications to those clients, compiled or as part of the
licensee's own application source.
d) Modify the source code.
2. Restrictions
The licensee may not:
a) Publish SafeExec source code, in whole or in substantial part,
in any public repository, package registry, or website.
b) Resell, sublicense, or redistribute SafeExec as a template,
starter kit, framework, library, or standalone source package.
c) Share the source code with any third party that has not purchased
its own license.
d) Use the source code to build a competing source-code product whose
primary purpose is to provide the same functionality as SafeExec.
3. Boundary for service providers
A licensee may ship applications built on SafeExec to its clients.
A licensee may not hand SafeExec itself to a client as a separate
source package. A client who wants SafeExec source needs its own
license.
4. Updates and support
This license includes all updates released within 12 months of purchase,
delivered through the private repository. Support is provided on a
best-effort basis by email. No service-level agreement is implied.
5. No runtime obligations
SafeExec performs no license verification at runtime and sends no
data to the licensor. This license file and distribution.properties are
informational only.
6. Warranty and liability
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The
licensor's total liability under this license is limited to the amount
paid for it.
7. Termination
This license terminates automatically if the licensee breaches section 2.
On termination the licensee must stop distributing SafeExec source,
but applications already built on it may continue to be used.
8. Refund
Before delivery of the source, a full refund is available at any time.
After delivery, a refund is available if the software cannot be run as
described in the README and the issue is not resolved within 7 days of
being reported.
